WordPress XML Sitemap kills posting

To create dynamic Google XML Sitemap for my WP websites I use this plugin Google (XML) Sitemaps Generator for WordPress.

Today I have this strange problem with one of my sites. When I wrote new posts MySQL goes crazy after published them. I saw in MySQL error page some strange line about XML Sitemap that contains more that 2500 posts. This was the problem that made WordPress MySQL base goes crazy. WordPress published new post but then he tried to update xml sitemap and it was too big for him.
